- 2-WAY RADIO: This full 50-watt, gmrs mobile radio is a two-way communication device that operates on GMRS (General Mobile Radio Service) frequencies. It features 15 high-power GMRS channels (1-7 & 15-22) which provide increased range.
- GMRS: The GMRS channels used by the 50-Watt Micromobile walkie-talkie are licensed by the FCC for personal and business use. These channels have a range of up to several miles, depending on terrain, weather conditions, and obstacles in the way.
- PRIVACY CODES: The 142 CTCSS/DCS privacy codes of the Micromobile walkie talkie allow you to select a specific code to use with a particular channel, which helps to prevent unwanted transmissions from being heard on the same channel.
- NOAA WEATHER SCAN + ALERT: The integrated NOAA Weather Scan automatically scans through 10 available weather (WX) band channels, locking onto the strongest to provide severe weather updates. The NOAA Weather Alert will sound an alarm if there is a risk of severe weather. The NOAA Weather Radio will also broadcast AMBER alerts for missing children.
